Do you believe that love conquers all? This story of Annette Ross and her family will convince you it does.
Annette and her husband Bill were living a fairy tale life in the upscale town of New Canaan, Connecticut, building a beautiful life together. They had one daughter and a second one on the way, but that's when things changed.
In 2000 while in labor with her second child, Annette suffered a spinal cord injury that left her confined to a wheelchair; her dream life she was living with Bill seemed to be shattered.
But life goes on and it has a way of working out. Annette still may be in the wheel chair, but she doesn't let that stop her from spending time with her family (she had three more daughters after her accident) and living her life. "I want people to learn that love is bigger than ourselves" says Annette.
With the love of her family and through the act of writing, Annette has overcome the tragedy in her life. "A lot of people write their way out of their situations and I wanted to do that." She recently wrote and released a book titled "Where Fairy Tales Go: A Love Story" that shares the details of her life. "Life is bitter-sweet and I'm more at peace with that after writing this book."
